20 Day Challenge--Day 7, 8, 9 & 10
Ok so I failed the 20 Day Challenge put I'm determined to answer all of the prompts. So here we go.
Prompt: (Day 7) List some of your family traditions. Which ones are your favorite and why?
So of our family traditions. We always eat Taco Soup on Halloween and even if we want to we don't eat it before. We always sing Christmas carols while we decorate the tree. Every year for Christmas my mom's side exchanges cousin gifts. Um I'm sure there is more I just can't think of anymore right now. Ok my favorite ones are.....all of them. I don't have one I like more than another. They are all pretty darn special to me.
Prompt: (Day 8) Describe your best friend. Tell why this person is your best friend.
I already talked about her! (Here is the link SYDNEE!!!! ) So I'm going to skip this one.
Prompt: (Day 9) Tell a story your mom and dad have told you about when you were a baby.
Oh this one should be fun. Hmmm. They always tell me about how they knew I was asleep because I would cross my legs (which I still do when I sleep or am extremely relaxed). I only ate eggs (which I now hate). I usually walked around in a diaper (I put some of the blame on my parents for this one). I had "thunder thighs" and these HUGE chipmunk cheeks (which I still kind of have)! My mom always talks about how I was (and still am) her only blue eyed red (blond now) haired child. I LOVED (and still do love) pasta. I think that's about it. Next!
Prompt: (Day 10) Tell about your last truly spiritual experience and how it affected you.
My last truly spiritual experience was probably about a month ago. I mean I have spiritual experiences at church and stuff but this one was different. Maggie and I were at the Visitors Center at the temple and one of the Sister Missionaries came and talked to us. We talked about forgiving others and how hard it is sometimes. It was kind of hard to hear but was exactly what I needed to hear. I have been struggling with forgiving others for about two years now. This experience really helped me to forgive others and to understand that I don't know why people do things but to love them anyways. It's kind of hard to put everything into words. I hope that you got what I'm trying to say though.
